My experience with AI is pretty limited. I have been using it to write blog posts, with mixed results.

It is very good at filling in the gaps with nonsense and when called on it, will say "I'm just a AI chat bot that's something that could have happened".
It's useful for rewriting stuff or correcting for punction and grammar. It does ok writing about ideas or things that are open ended but it doesn't do well when you want it to get specific or when accuracy counts. It reminds of the old computer saying "Garbage In, Garbage Out".

A mate of mine is very geeky, and was stumped trying to write code to get two black boxes to play ball with each other. In the end he went to chatGPT and asked it to write the code, and it did it just like that, and it worked flawlessly.

The problem will be when this stuff decides to write code cause it sees a need for x,y and z black boxes to work with each other, not the person. Is this coming next month, next year, next decade??? Who knows.

It will come sooner than we think, otherwise they would n`t pause it because they must have found a big "surprise" in their laboratory. But I am sure they will proceed and the result will be either for the good of humankind unlikely, or the end of it, like all the lost civilizations before us. Because they, or say some people, what they are pursuing is another thing, not just AI and a robot could make my wife through her out of the window.

lots of things, we as common people will never know about, only few in this world know the truth. I have a hypothesis that we human never actually invented anything, we only discovered it from the past, something are lost but there are hard evidences to proof it does exist and that `s the reason of why space programs, landing on the moon & mission on Mars in 1960s, deep sea exploration, drilling holes into the deep earth, and explorers flooded to Tibet region were trying to find Shambhala...etc.

All the technologies we have today are inherited from Nazi Germany, and those Nazis did found something from Tibet, the central of Earth as they call it. That `s why Soviet Unit and West allies rushed into Germany after Hitler "died". Elon Mask `s rocket is the design of Von Braun. China for example, why ccp broke up with cccp in 60s? Why ccp `s China can become the second largest economy in less than 30 years and western world allow them but not for north Korea ? And why ccp is so aggressive now? You may think it `s the nuclear power or the influence of global supply chain. Yeah maybe is the nuclear, but importantly is where they tested their nuke in Xiangjing province, the place is called Lop Nur. The whole tests down there, as the memo and some articles said, it `s just cover up for what they found in there....And that `s why Russians gave them, the ccp, the design of nuke for return of something ccp found in there. But ccp refused, then Russian withdrew nuke program from China........

It `s a long story, and maybe a good topic over camp fire.

I wonder, does the existence of artificial intelligence mean that artificial stupidity exists. Or does that still belong entirely to humankind ??

Yup, the older I get the more I realise that the old saying "the love of money is the root of all evil" rings true.

Bonhoffer's theory of stupidity sums it all up

Haha, and I see that the EU has started to legislate around AI, but we are defenceless against stupidity !
