Well done Dorkus. I am new to this gun walking game too. Me, I am a bigger idiot than you because I got out of bed at 5am yesterday it was pissing down so went back to bed. Got out of bed later to find the weather was just light showers for most of the day. Wish I had just gone and done it, 5 days at work now then 1 day off. Life's just not fair. You shot a tree I didn't even see a tree. Life's a bitch then you die. Thinking of turning vegan, can you drink beer when your vegan. Next time aye, next time.

The best red stag I have ever seen on foot, ran off unharmed because I shot a tree I didn't notice in line with his front leg.

Projectile smacked through the middle and exited at right angle. I put my rifle down to one side of the tree while I inspected it and abused myself.
When I picked it up, I found the projectile sitting on the leaf litter under where I placed the rifle.

Still have it on my reloading bench. That was 2007. It still hurts to think about it.😆
