    Awesome VC. Fantastic fun sharing a pastime with your kid. No doubt the beginning of a long adventure together.
    PS. Also has the advantage of getting away with going hunting and fishing all the time because "the boy wants to".

    That's what it's all about. The rabbit sure is a great way to start your hunting carrier. I also remember my first one....shot with a BSA Meteor at about 20 yards. Well Done both of you.

    He is more of a townie type kid but its not his fault that is where we live, I try not to push him too hard on coming hunting/fishing just because it is what I am into. I just try to make sure every time he does come he enjoys himself.(MacDonalds or a ice-cream on the way home is a goody )

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone

    Norinco jw15 ,next you will need a foxy,all we neede as kids,couple of mates,22 ,pocketknife and the fox terrier,we would be gone from daylight till dark most weekends.

    Yep its a JW15 copy of a cz stock and barrel shortened ......it is an earlyish one with wooden stock and shoots very very well (for a cheap 22= to the brand new CZ in the safe)with ammo it likes and okish with most everything.

    This sort of story really hits home....my own son got his first roo around the same age and he still talks about it today,decades later.
