    looks like you had great weather for your adventure and a great time with the boys choice well done and well planned.
    did you try eating a snake or two or anything else local besides fish and crabs

    No just fish and crabs

    There were heaps of shellfish out there too. Big clams, oysters, mussels and gooey duck but we couldn't eat them due to the risk of PSP (paralytic shellfish poisoning) caused by red tide.

    If you were out there in a month with an 'r' in it you could literally live of them

    How did the sandflies/midges compare to NZ?
