    Sounds like a great day alright cool write up and great pics. Yet to shoot a Cham only seen a few' can't wait to get back up there after that.

    What a mission, I haven’t had to walk in deep snow for quite some time. It really does add to the physical exertion.
    But there’s nothing better than a day in the hills.
    I must book a day off work soon!

    Not sure what it's called mate, it was Gav's. It's just his tripod for his spotting scope and the little module thing clips onto the tripod fitting.

    Haha, yep, I think I mentioned it in the vid a couple times. Its a prick.Although its a change and a challenge. Bugger living anywhere where it sits for extended periods of time though.

    If you lived somewhere that it actually lasted for the whole of winter you'd just get snowshoes or skis I suppose

    Snowshoes don't make it much easier unless it's knee Deep+ problem is 4wd access, had to put all four chains on just to get over a saddle last week
