    A Day of 2

Well i went for a hunt today, up at 3.30am and gone by 4.30.
Hit the area at 5.30am and waited for 15 minutes for some more sunlight, fat fucken chance of that Rain and wind is all we seen for the rest of the day.
After bailing out of the truck on a calmer spell we were off to the promised land, a forestry block!
This is a hunt with a difference for me as this time no .300wsm would be involved, this time and it is about time too i take the .22-243 i got of Gavin(Crzyman).
He has often asked if i have shot anything with it and now i can say i have.
2 stags with 2 shots with a .22-243 but only one had 2 antlers.

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

    If only that were true.
Gates are locked into this place so it was a 9k walk out.

    More so i reckon.
They lock the gates and allow foot access only which is fine but there was some one in the other side who put a bike around the gate which has got me thinking.

Used to surprise a few pigs back in my downhill days didn't seem to spook at the noise of the bike rattling down hill. One day me and a mate both bailed off the bikes and tackled a piglet each.We stood there yelling at each other over the squealing trying to decide what to do with them.Let them go as it would have been a mish to carry them down and lock them in my ute then walk back up and get the bike by which time I reckoned they would have trashed the inside of my wagon.
