Over the weekend a mate invited me on a hunt up central Otago on a property he's just got access to and this was more of an exploration trip to see the lay of the land and just enjoy a fun day out.
The weather was great, a little chilly in the morning but once the sun came it was a warm 23 degree day with stunning clear skies with one of those days that just fills the soul and recharges the body no matter what outdoor activity your doing.
As we drove through the property we bumped into a few fallow deer but they weren't on the cards at the farmers request so we were happy to oblige and obey the rules.
I love Fallow and really enjoy seeing them in different parts of the country.
We did get to see a few piggies running about and even got into position for a decent sized boar but we stuffed about too long in getting set up so he got to live for another day.
There were plenty of goats about which we did get to shoot a few but I was happy just being out there exploring some new country, great scenery, great company and just taking photos.
Anyway... here's a few pics of what I took.
