    Fathers day delight

This year's fathers day will be one for the record books in my family.

There are three of us boys in the family and on this years fathers day myself and my youngest brother were out hunting, trying to find him a stag. Long story short we managed to get him a nice young 10pt which was shot on film. Seeing as it was fathers day we ducked home to the farm and grabbed the old man for a few pics.

When we got the stag home we got a call from our other brother letting us know that his first child, a baby boy had just been born healthy, happy and bloody heavy (9lb) for his 5'2" wife.

Certainly a day we'll never forget!

And completely unrelated, this is my personal stag I shot this year, old 7x7.

    Nice one BH.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Thanks gentleman,

I did notice the deer shudder before my little brother dropped thr hammer. I now know it was because they felt the next generation of deer slayers coming into the world!

Only a few years until he's out with dad and uncle jack chasing roaring reds and croaking bucks!
