    Top job, good caliber choice but it certainly pays to follow up on the shot as the animals can run a bit. In this case it meant the difference between meat in the freezer or not, also the first deer for your wife.

    Cheers everyone, yep as it was abit rushed when she shot and then once it took off straight away she said 'aw i missed' so first thing that came to mind was first time hunting nerves etc so wasnt expecting anything. Glad we turned back to go for a good look.
