    my ears allways prick up when I read or hear 280 what make and type is it

    the dinners are allways way nicer when girls cook them on hunting trips.

    They are aren't they!!

    It's a Browning A-bolt Stainless. Left handed. I orginally bought it because I was struggling to find a suitable mid range do-it-all calibre in left hand configuration. I also have a soft spot for brownings, and its not a 270, or 3006, or 308 etc...

    You haven't gone wrong with a 280. but then again iv got a soft spot(or should that be hard spot?) for 280 remingtons
