Do be aware of eyes on the other side, have seen station workers up there

Pretty sure I drove passed there on my last trip south, it's one hell of a climb...

we had a short one in the Waioeka called the gut buster - I was taking a school group over when a chubby little 13-14 year old asked me what would happen if one died going over - dont ask me why that question she must have been questioning her mortality from puffing so hard - any way I told her we would carry her out but to lighten load would likely gut her first - no sense of bloody humour at all - the two big bottles of coke in her bag likely did not help
