Last year i spied a Stag that i was quite keen to put on the deck but the weather conspired against me and we had to leave the area, this year we went and had a look for him again in the same place but he wasn't about, well not in our boundary anyway.
We left for our spot on Thursday arvo and took the 4x4 bikes as far as we could leaving us a 3.5hr walk into the camp site.
The weather was amazing with the sun shining bright for everyday apart from departure day where the wind turned up and done its utmost best to blow us off the ridge back to the bikes.
I have put together a series of pics that i took from the trip in and the 3 days we were hunting, i hope you enjoy them and when i get a chance i hope to add some video footage as well.

An old Boy.
He never saw it coming.
So that was the weekend, i had a ball even though my big fella wasn't around, however we think we seen him on another face out of our area so another day maybe.
It can never hurt to leave him in there to breed.
We also shot a Malformed Stag that had 7 hinds with him and we seen a Hummel as well but unfortunately he eluded us this time.
Hope you enjoy the pics as much as i enjoyed taking them.
Cheers
Mal.
