If anyone wants to 'take a kid hunting' in the Kaimai's [Waikato side] then they can have free use of this campsite. Sited close to the start of Thompson's Track on private land. Easy access for hunting public land for red deer, and possum and magpie on private land,

You could always try the Bag of lollies outside the school trick.

Usually you have to engage in some sort of reproductive activity, wait 9 months, put up with a couple of years of sleep deprivation, crap, and vomit, then you're away laughing.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Just watch where you throw them Josh, Baldbob is partial to certain sorts and he will say anything to go hunting.

With the boys rugby cancelled again, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get Ashton out to the lake, hes been asking to go for a while, so with a weak southerly predicted, we were off.

The ducks were hard work with the little wind we had but were moving about well and gave me plenty of opportunities, although I stuffed up alot trying to get video footage while I was shooting and just plain bad shooting.

Ashton had a great time which was good and it wasn't overly cold out.

Here's some very amiture vid footage
