In order to get an exit hole the projectile would have to exit the animal, yes?

Notice how fire exit signs are on doors you walk OUT of?

Could do, though if it had energy to do that size hole surely it'd have enough to pop out of some skin

Bullets can often be under the skin even tho there is an exit hole in the skin Toby! Tis is due to the flesh or a bit of bone being pushed out in front of the bullet, also if at a glancing angle they can exit the body but travel a long way between the skin and flesh, skin is very stretchy.
I shot a red once and the bullet exixted the front of the off side shoulder and the fully expanded bullet fell on the ground when I cut off the head!,zero damage once out of the shoulder meat.
    stingray and oneshot like this.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

308Win One chambering to rule them all.
