    conclusion has been reached having shot more than a few of the wee hoppers myself....yes I would have been happy with a mini 14 BUT didnt have one and learnt to do job pretty darn well with a simple bolt. have head shot over 400 bunnies along with a mate one night...picked them up and skinned them too... that was with a bruno and a norinco both bolts.... 5 shot mags too....

    Follow up shots can be usefull,but only if you take a gun and not just a mate with a knife....

    5 shot mags?? pffttt. all ya need is a single shot .. or maybe a sharpened stick

    got a couple of singles...... shot a hell of a lot of animals with them too.
