I got engaged... in the Thunderbolt Tops, Kaimanawa's

Got engaged a few weeks ago, the story even made it into the Woman's Day magazine! Check out the link below, It's pretty cheesey but worth a read!

What they don't mention in the story is I managed to drop a couple of Sika on the night, my mrs spotted them too!

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

I made my Mrs a cup of tea and put a ring in it, after all the choking and yelling settled down I told her I reckon we should get married. Romantic as f**k I am...

Nah, this happened 3 weeks ago. I was already in the Thunderbolt and had her flown in. She had no idea I was there.. You'll have to read the story, its an awesome read.

The magazine team flew us in again to capture professional shots last week.

Haha. I actually asked but were only allocated 2 hour of photos in the tops, chopper had to wait. I was pretty distracted trying to spot deer (and scouting for areas to head next time)
