You guys should have airlifted some Bmx bikes with the chopper up there and go back from the top of urchin track down the car park, that would have been a cool finish! Congratulation

Identify your target beyond all doubt
On ya pal! Romanticism is clearly alive and well.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
Wow well done! You got yourself a star.
I proposed on a mountain also... Only Mount Eden though (no deer there just a few sheep).
Well fuk me didn't you just do better than winning Lotto. Lovely write up by the way
"ars longa, vita brevis"
All the best you two
Congrats on the engagement. Awesome that your mrs likes to get out in the hills with you.
Now wheres the hunting pictures? Haha
A couple of healthy Sika, chuffed as. Both deer were shot at 280 yards, just up on the ridge from camp, 15min walk away.
Is she going to clear a 30ft jump and then manual down the isle?
Well done @hotsoup, cut my grass with that one beautiful deer too mate.
Awesome story

Nicely done indeed. And already having her own expensive & time consuming outdoor activity will take the pressure right off excessive expenditure by you on yours. I can't see you getting any Beef&Lamb sponsorship for new optics or fly-ins for these wild venison recovery missions of yours though!
