    And that is the thing, Japanese make some of the best kitchen knifes in world, it would not be that hard to fix a heavy duty one at the end of a stick and finish the poor thing . I am not sure but it is my understanding that bowhunting and hunting broad-heads are for forbidden over there. So even that won’t work.

    That's about as close to hunting as they're legally allowed to get there, so he's doing what he can within the limits of their very extensive laws. It's my understanding that he's already under a ton of scrutiny to just do that, so any sort of improvisation outside of that might get him a ban on hunting and fines, if not jail time.

    I'd imagine he would welcome hunting in nz.
