Just tap em on the head mate

Went for a wander in the pissing rain with the old man on Saturday looking for a Sambar stag. Looks like there are still a few rutting going by the big rake marks in the wallows so might be spending the long weekend chasing them round. Didn't actually see a single sambar.

Spotted a couple of Fallow and a mate had asked for a deer the night before so this guy was very unlucky to be sitting out in the rain as I would have normally left him to it.

Knocked him on the head with a 168grain Amax from 200. Never knew what hit him.

    Well done.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

That did the job. Dog was pretty happy too!
I thought it was just my Vizsla that got a bit excited about shooting... ;-)
