    i often hunt with my wife, just wish she could be fitted with a suppressor too !

    Thanks for the comments guys. Fair amount of the other activity been going on with varying degrees of success. One thing I can say for sure is that I really don’t like hunting in February heat and humidity.

    The stag has been eating extremely well, really delicious. Once we tidied up the cuts for final freezing there was plenty left over to eat fresh after a few days aging in the fridge. I’ve been thinly slicing rump, marinading it in soy & pepper and stir frying it with fresh ginger and honey.

    Primo. Having that twice a day.

    @Flyblown I saw this write up just after you first posted it. Ive been saving it till Im back at work and could sit down at lunch time to enjoy!

    Really well written!! I could almost feel that I was there sitting back and watching the whole thing.

    On a side note whats the dpt rifle weigh all up?
