Good work, GWH...there is nothing like being out in the bush with your father, learning about the trees, the way the wind works and all the rest...it reminds me of a trip my father and I took into the MacIntosh...he wore shorts for about 11 months of the year...as we were slogging it up the track back to Ngahere, me behind father, I cracked up laughing...he stopped and I said to him "you know, I know the back of your legs better than your face"...we laughed together; it was one of many magic moments...my only wish now is that I could remember all the things that he told me...you think those times are going to last forever but they don't so you have to make every minute count.
