You are absolutely right and I'm sure we will get on fine. As my husband said, we are probably very alike and so I know that he will also have a good laugh. And despite of what I wrote in my story, I know he can still teach me a lot about fishing, so I'm looking forward to that. He did raise a pretty awesome son and more importantly, he did give him the right values in life, which I will always be grateful for.
Also, I hear what you are saying about GPS and PLB. I will be careful and look after myself, I promise.
I am actually getting really excited about the trip and writing about it has been very soothing and revealing. I can't wait to get there now. Not long, only a few more days.
Your writing style and the imagery created reminds me of Zane Grey. Are you a disciple ??

Alas @Moa Hunter, I really was far too incredibly quite and shy. And I could never sleep in a room with anyone else, a very light sleeper. The snoring didn't help either.

Crikey gadget, you were naïve. That wasn't snoring you fool, that was Husky Deep Breathing of the man attracting type. Clearly she was after a bit of 'Inward Bound' to cap off the 'Outward Bound' !!!

Guilty. I did manage to make it to 29 before I got my first girlfriend. Married two weeks after my 30th birthday, some rubbish about wanting to let folks get even with me before her big day, otherwise it would have been sooner. As if I'd ever give people cause for anything like that!

I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
