    No photos in the field, but I did boil out the heads, so I could take a photo of them clean. One skull fell in half though, as the poor bastard was shot in the head

    Nice write up, venison Jerky always goes well, couple of vacuum packed parcels in your pack on your next hunt will taste extra good

    cracker stag that first one...big animlas too,should be good venison as hopefully havent rooted themselves silly yet. good work on the first stag..15 yards with 22-250,yip thats barrel stretching alright!!!!

    Thanks Micky, we were actually after a bigger stag possibly as big as the first one that we had been watching out in the open with 3 hinds. On the way to stalk him this youngun popped up right in our way. It is good eating too have already been sampling some.
