Moved too the south island two days ago. Can report Im on the board.

Went out last night and got a couple of ducks, The flight seems to be much earlier than up the king country.

Then this morning I thought Id go look for a deer. Imagine my surprise when I stalked in on a popping noise to find this guy eating hard berries. 70 yards across the gully and he rolled down the hill immediately at the shot. Ive come to the conclusion that they follow me.

your going to love the different bush lawyer in that bit of the country..small rounded leaves just like the beech its under..and monkey puzzle scrub further up the slope will really give you a workout.with luck you will find goats close by (I actually miss having them nearby) fallow and reds close by too...hopefully you can locate them....

Located a Fallow yesterday. She was on too me and I rushed a shot at her neck at 120 meters and clean missed. We didnt bring down any meat and I was quite keen to get some hanging..... So you could say I took a pot shot.

You were considering a new gun. Did you get one?
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.

Nice. Good work dropping the ducks with a 270, that Barrett is humming - you did shoot them on the wing eh?
