Silver it is for Sweden. Was a great game by TC.

Hope you enjoy your hunting on the coast. The weather looks excellent for the week.

Unfortunately the hunt on the west coast had to be called of so that was a bummer but I went up the Copland valley for trout instead! Didn't do enough research before I went though because the river was filled with blue glacierwater which made it impossible to fish...
Despite lack of fishing I had a great couple of days which included a stop at the hot pools and a look at the Copland pass. On my way there I passed a lot of places that looked like real thar and chamois land and if I only have had a pair of binoculars I think i would be able to spot them on the mountainsides.

The weather has been awesome until today when I had planned to walk out.. Sometime around midnight I heard the rain starting to fall on the tent and by the time I got started down the track at around 8 a clock the water level in the river had risen about 50 cm and there were water everywhere. I finally managed to get down to the carpark a couple of hours later and I really learned that you got to respect these rivers..

Haha I heard about the hockey and yeah... not a single goal, thats bad..

The USA was held scoreless as well mate. The Nucks only allowed 3 goals the whole tourney which is pretty amazing considering the talent they were up against.

Plenty of thar and chams up there mate. Surprised you did not see any game at river level. Binos would have helped like you said.

Are you still on the coast?
I can put you on to good water for a fish.

I am on the coast for a couple more days so I would really appreciate some good fishing spots!
Doesn't seem to be many of them around here or maybe there just a little bit more difficult to find..
