An we dont want to know what antics went on after the kill................
But you sure did 'spank' it well
Looking forward to getting over the ditch soon
its hard enough to get an animal with a rifle but to get an animal like that with a bow is outstanding
Hi guys,
So my mate who is doing the taxidermy job on my fallow (check him on facebook - Ballarat Taxidermy) said it'll be ready to mount in the next couple of weeks when the skin back from the tanners and I'm helping out with the mount as I want to learn how to do it.
It's my first with the bow and after he blew me away with the score after he measured it (not that I'm usually into that stuff) I would really like to do something different and special. I'm thinking an aggressive shoulder mount or a sneak with both ears turned what do people think?
Type them into google and it comes up with whitetail examples of both options, or any others people have. So far I have a standard red, fallow and chital mount all favouring their better side and my sika is done with one ear turned.
Cheers,
BH
Have faith in your taxidermist they have done it all before
