    bloody good photos there the 1 with the mountain reflected in the tarn awesome. good seeing a open lever in there

    Yeah it's all part of the game.
    I was stoked, got to see three of the four things I waa after, chamois, Tahr and kea. Fourth was aurora but knew it was a long shot.

    If we're lucky @1toeknee1 might grace us with some of his photos

    Great series of photos in some fantastic looking country. Looks to be plenty of Tahr around too.

    Great trip. Awesome to be able to see tahr from the hut each morning...even if we couldn't get to them. Here's a few more pics that don't star my arse

    Hurry up and upload them to my one drive.

    Forgot to add to the photos that within 15 mins of arriving and about 100m from that hut I managed to fall into a river and dislocate my finger. Looked like a lightning bolt. Couple of good squeezes and bends later and it popped back in before gaining some good colour and size.

    Thanks to Tony and good keen eyes we managed to retrieve my favorite watch later that evening that I hadn't realised was smashed off my wrist.

    The girl that was with us was also almost eaten alive by some quick silt.
