Broken down and vacuum packed by me. They mainly take stewing and casserole meat. Ive offered to dice it but they like it in chunks so they can do whatever with it. I give it to them, and they cook it and give the meals away through their night kitchens.

Cracker Buck Brian, I sure wouldn't mind a buck like that. Nice to get out and stretch the legs and get a good haul of meat. There will be some happy campers after dropping off some meat.

How do you swing that? I know of a lot fallow that is going to waste at the moment and it's such a waste but there's no way of getting it into the food chain legit.

I just rang them and asked if they needed it. They did their own checking.

They sound pretty silly if they let beautiful meat like fallow to go to waste

Have a look at the mpi rules around feral game meat and the human food chain if you want to see silly on steroids.

When there was a commercial trade for wild venison the deer we sold had to have their ears on to prove they were not farmed deer. So those deer hanging up in the above pic were how we would sell them. Old habits die hard, so to me a deer carcass now looks naked if its ears aren't left on when I take the head off.
