    sometimes and strobes first trip of the year

    Strobe and I went down to north taranaki last week for a few days to a farm we hunt on a quite a bit.We have a old wool shed that we have the use of to stay in .It was wet when we got there unloaded the ute set gear up had a cuppa and went and did some hunting .Strobe shot 9 goats over 3 days he did pretty good shot 3 out of a mob of 5 with his single shot 243 most were shot under 10 meters' let him go for a hunt by himself Friday afternoon went up a little creek got 2 goats gutted his first animal by himself and carried it back .He must of being paying attention when I have being showing him how to do it because he did a good job.The weather ended up being real good dogs worked well ended up with 38 kilos of meat at the butchers and some dog food 16 goats all up Strobe and I had a good tripName:  P1230469.jpg

    Bloody brilliant huff
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
