I bought a 1L bottle of JD down in case we needed to be cheered up, between us this is all we managed, what a pair of lightweights
Clearly we had such a good time we didn't need any cheering up.

So there you have it the "tag team triple" 3 deer on the ground in one day all meat recovered.
Sorry it's a bit light on pics but no camera and the pace at which things evolved meant pics just didn't happen hopefully I have painted a good enough picture for you all. I'm not much of a writer hope it all makes sense.
What a great weekend away thank you so much to my great mate @Ryan_Songhurst I look forward to our next adventure

Bringing it all together and trying out new gear sure can be fun. Sounds like a good and satisfying time. And great that Ryan blooded his new "not .270".

    Thanks for the story.

He also hasnt mentioned popping his jimmys pie cheery in Roxborough, followed by a quick trip to catch the fairlie bakehouse before it closed....
Popped into Roxburgh with Dan one evening and I was quite proud to show him the home of Jimmy's pies...he was like "what's Jimmy's pies???"
It was one of those moments when you feel like saying "you're dead to me" lol

In my defence I didn't grow up here in NZ, hell I didn't even know what a Georgie pie was till maccas re instated them a while back.
Also Sheffield pies right in my backyard and Fairlie pies much closer than Roxburgh I'm spoilt for pie choice
I will admit my Jimmy's pie debut was pretty impressive, really would've loved a lamb shank one, I guess good excuse to come back
