It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

They do it over the phone. The shelia didn't question it approved it straight away.
I guess they think if your cheating you would have a better story.
brilliant shot at that distance, very rewarding.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Got me thinking about neck shooting.
I remember these 2 well from my meat hunting days over 30 years ago. Dropped them next to each other at about 70 yards. The rifle was one of the first 7-08’s around, a re-barreled LSA55 308. 120 grain Sierras.
And another neck shot at about 50 yards. In the Tararua’s 43 years ago. Carted him out to the chiller too. BRNO .222

That's some great confidence in your shooting skills to go a neck shot at that distance. Well done on knocking them over, and thanks for posting.
She was quartering onto me and only part of her shoulder, plus her neck and head were visible behind a bit of a tree. There was a bit of wind too, so if it had missed her high neck where I aimed the bullet would have drifted into the lower neck/front of shoulder. There a bit a bit of risk, but I was fairly confident. The most difficult part was finding a decent rest on the steep spur. All of the scrub was a bit spindly and weak. In the end I took my my jacket and top off and used them as a rest, but it was still a bit awkward.Originally Posted by )308447
Its not so difficult if you have confidence in your rifle, and once you have done it a few hundred times
