Did the river on Sunday, always been on the bucket list. Here's a vid I made of the trip. Good times, no damage.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
That's on my list to do as well, your Hamilton Josh? No dints in the bottom lol

Great Vid, went down there about 30 years ago with Greg Walker, who was among the first to successfully run it reliably, I recall he had a steel boat, and it only had just enough HP to get back up with a load (usually the Hook's deer).
Recently ran it in Roffy's boat, fantastic trip, very low water made it interesting to say the least, looks like there was plenty going down the day you did it!!
really enjoyed the vid, this trip should be on every thrill seekers bucket list. especially with low river levels going thru the rock garden.
was there much deer sign at the flat( can't remember the name, Deer flat?) where you stopped when going back up river?, used to have heaps there.
you can quite often see deer from the boat anywhere on the river.thanks for posting, top effort..
