    Wallaby & stuff

    3 of us have just spent 5 days chasing wallaby in the Mackenzie Basin area. The weather was blue bird everyday except for one that was a bit overcast.
    Our hunting was during the afternoons and evenings but unless you spooked them or walked them up the wallaby didn't start appearing 'till after 2.30-3.00 pm. Dark at 6pm so quite a small hunting window.

    We shot 156 wallaby and a couple of Fallow. Over the last few years we have culled probably over 2000 wallaby. Its great fun and excellent for getting your eye in. I shot them out to 375 yards this trip with the average range for me about 180 yards.
