Yeah the sun is supposed to swell to a red giant and the earth will be liquid rock. Might want your asbestos boots for that one about 4 or 5 billion years away so plenty of time to save your pennies

I suspect human life will already be well gone before then.

    So don't worry.

What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

A lot of this type of research is done at Universities and Institutions funded by both public and private sources. The Plate Tectonic Theory was developed at a University largely by a student as part of his doctorate around 1960. Things can move very fast. Theory in scientific terms means the only explanation that explains the observations and not just a guess.

I will be 150 years old when the sun comes up on 1/01/2100 and I am not even half way there yet. I would certainly be a grumpy old cuss by then. People that know me personally may wish to refrain from commenting. Happy to give it a nudge though.

And I will be 147 so I too am not yet half way there. I am planning on getting there although sadly I have often felt that I will die prematurely that year (shot through the back of the head by a jealous husband while jumping out of a bedroom window).

As long as you didn't hide in the fridge, as per the old joke, as the husband came home.

when society and governments systematically set about removing moral laws and breaking up the "family unit"....and then promote alternative sexualities and gender is no longer 2 and a few oddballs...... we as a SPECIES are going to die out anyway.when we fail to reproduce enough to replace what dies off..well we are going to die off....
sad this duckshooting I was in small garage with 3 other people and unless my daughter decides to give me grandkids I will be the only one of the four to reproduce.
there seems to be quite a lot of younger folks around who dont intend to have kids....the doom n gloomers have taken the gloss of the whole idea.
