    It will work well in that environment with that ammo. Re the "costsmore", the factory ammo costs the same as other non-magnum calibres, except for .223.

    For the record in case someone else ever looks for it, the subtension of a Bushnell Elite 3-9x40 plex is 8"@100m at 9x zoom.

    Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.
