OK, i dont know on the 3.2 or PAjero. but if you were to post a picture of the air flow unit closest to the intake i could probably tell you if its the same setup.
EGR will switch off when outside air temperature gets very cold. this mod confuses the engine management that the air is cold despite actual temperature. end result is that crappy nz diesel fumes dont enter the intake manifold and make it look like a coal miners armpit

find it? look where air enters the intake system. there is a sensor plugged in. on the tritons its a 5 pin inline plug you need to modify things at this point
Funny that this thread came up.
Had some spare time on my hands yesterday as I waited for my wife's car to have new tyres fitted.
So was looking at which is the best new 4x4. L200 came up tops then the Fiat second which I see is a copy of the L200.
I've an old shape 04 model which I have taken it to Germany twice and France half a dozen times, plus all the bird feeding across flint muddy ground. Touch wood it's been great!
With the old model you can blank off the EGR and decat which I have done has improved the fule consumption no end Before that it was a bit of a dog with flat spots and trouble with the turbo.
Good to hear that there is a cheat for the EGR on the new shape.
If you are going to buy one I'd recommend joining the L200 club forum.
It will cost you £10.00 but money well spent as they have lots of trouble shooting stuff that will save you a bundle. Has for me.
Also a lot of how too. So again if your handy this will definitely help.

Which models/years of Triton have Rear Diff Lock button? I've been looking out for one, some do and some don't, seems a bit random and I can't get any sense out of the dealers about this.
My 08 has one. I think it's mainly the top spec one that has it
Ok, but being the base model does it also have the 4-way 4WD selector options 2H 4H 4HLc & 4LLc? Super Select I think they call it, which bascially adds a permanent 4WD option. Not sure if that's worth much, or whether you can get it with diff lock or is it one or the other?
cheers
Inlaws have 2013 triton. It doesn't like the Rotorua air, the "chrome" trim on the outside has all discoloured.
Mechanical wise it hasn't missed a beat and maintenance is a foreign language to them.
