    4WD HID driving lights

Hi all, I'm looking at getting a set of HID lights to go on the front of the ute but I'm not sure if I should go for one spot and one flood or both spots.
What set ups do you guys have and are the new Led light bars any good or is the HID technology still miles ahead?
    Cheers Possum

Replaced my main headlights - candle powered halogens with hids (globe, bulb, psu) Enormous difference.
Not as good as my factory Disco 3 lights but you get what you pay.

I had 1 flood and 1 spot on my truck. Swapped the flood for another spot as the spill was decent enough to not need a flood.
Had better longer range lighting after putting 2nd spotty on as well.

Best advise in fitting any sort of lighting, is to use really good wiring and connectors. Don't get the thinnest cheapest wire you can, get decent thick stuff that is more than required.

The only problem with them is those bloody great signs TransitNZ insists on putting everywhere to let you know the road takes a slight curve.
I have to flick off the spots on windy bits just too dazzeling with all the signage.
