It is actually quite hard to find a 12 foot non pontoon alloy dingy these days.

    Got a price by txt
You could always buy a pile of Ali, another pile of beer and get busy with your welder. That's how my mate in Hoki built his first boat ( although in his case was a pile of steel ) and now he build a few more

I think you will struggle to replace your cool wee beastie unless you are going similar hull just bigger

One of these in this remarkable demonstration of how not to trim and drive your dingy.

I should find out this week if my ornament is sold then I will have to put up with the other problem, wanting another ornament I whish they could just build the perfect boat; cheap to run, small enough for every thing and big enough for every thing else. I guess I will be waiting awhile

You have just described the "someone elses boat" model. perfect for every use and low/no maintenance

Im going to try a glass boat , older proven hull , with hopefully newer motor . Apart from sleek lines and bling hull design hasn't changed for the better as far as i can see . Ok it may be shit brown colour or lime green but won't need a mortgage ,and will get a better ride than a alloy of equive length .

A 6m glass boat would be quite heavy wouldn't it. My little 14' plylite takes a bit of towing to be fair

Yes they are , and that flip side i suppose . Am looking at around 5 - 5.5 mts , with walk thru so can handle on my own . So should not be too heavy
