Every car i have owned has been about 10% out.
To get a ticket for over 105 have to be going close to 120 indicated on the spedo

Ah. but is it 10% out at all speeds, such as 20 30 50?.............Is it doing 10 whilst parked in your garage?

I notice on a lot ofo the Youtube videos a stopped vehicle (equipped with a GPS system) often show it as moving ....sometimes up to 5.

At first i thought that might have something to do with the earth's rotation but then realised that the satellite the GPS was using, is in an unchanging, fixed, stationary point to the earth

54/55kmh on radar signs and gps when 60kmh on the spedo. ~100kmh when 110km on the spedo.

Its definitely %. Its not constantly out by 10kmh

    I know.
But ‘they’ tends to/can indicate several.

worst speedo we had was the Nissan x-fail , 100kmh on the speedo was 91 actual, changed the profile size on the tyres and it was accurate but holy hell, never so many electrical issues on a japanese vehicle !

Clearly this is a massive public safety issue. public should not be allowed automatic cars, and if they had a register then the problems would all go away. FFS

@Finnwolf If you follow the link and read, you will find the report for the period Jul 2007 to Dec 2010.

"It is the fifth incident since December 2007 in which a police car has collided with a motorist while attempting to turn and chase a speeding driver....."

Along with mention off other motorcyclists involved.Five to me, means more than several, but less than many
