Bit more fruit in the Ranger but basically the same. The Ranger would have to be the best truck I have had by far, with the only one Ive not had (other than a 87 wellside) is a Hilux. I found the Colorado to be the worst of the lot.
Well that's heartening if you didn't like the Colorado, cause I luv mine, but think the Rangers the best you've had then I've made the right choice, choice

we went in to local Toyota 4 years ago looking for a new, new, new car for the missus. To cut a long story short. We both open doors, bonnet, sat in it and made car noises etc, etc.

Salesmen all looked at us and carried on yakking amongst themselves. reckon cause we were dressed shorts and flip flops they thought we were tyre kickers with no money.

walked out saw a s/h 95 SWB 4X4 Pajero on way home, brought it. Toyota you saved me a fortune and I finally got a 4x4.

Been a good vehicle but need a ute with canopy now as dogs need somewhere to live when we are away.
I would prefer to keep it as well for my toy but no room
You too long you too long... Resale value and who wants them is the prob as well but if you dont fit it no good..
Make the missus drive bro he he .. Youd fit a Land Cruiser tho HA HA . Dogs love those ...

I'll shortly stop loving the awesome Toyota you bought. Id need a big sunroof to put the motors on the back seat.
Gotta say buying a Ford worries me but a 5 cylinder Volvo motor is the best I can find

Mobile dog box / hunting wagon
and must be capable to to 2 ton boat
    Around the $30K mark

Don't really like the latest ones they all look bloated (navara, ranger, colarado etc) and they are a tad expensive I mean a new HiLux according to the local radio ad is only $59,990.00
Not sure in whose world 60k is "only" but it sure ain't mine. even if I could afford one at that price I would never be allowed to take it somewhere it might get scratched
Mikee sorry for trashing your original question.
Short answewr there has to be something better. (Like shorten yr legs and buy a Toyota)
Just jokin I know you ll know I meant no harm.. FORD Fucced on race day.. Fixed or repaired daily
And to think I did my time (penance at Hutchies in CHCH) He he when yas leave yas learn stuff...
Apologies did not mean any bad . Did eventually get A Grade tho.. Right before they sacked me but thats a whole nother story..

No point Happy I'm getting a 2wd off Tarmac sits and spins
Had heaps of Japanese company cars but the ones I've owned either German or European, always better handling in my opinion
Most Japanese cars don't do it for me in performance or handling off the shelf, ok Miti evo and Subara maybe, but I'm older and had my fun in the 80s and 90s with my Ford Cosworths and I'm not there anymore.
Fark I drive a Taiwanese? Colorado diesel auto, first auto I've owned and I knew I was passed it when I caved in and bought an auto!
