Bloody road user charges make the Hilux expensive for most to run, petrol is looking better all the time, -as long as it can handle river crossings!!!.....
Diesel mileage and rego costs swayed me a bit.. Petrol bill working it out will not change to much once rego and diesel milage not being paid.

Owners manual says avoid deeper than 700 mm river crossings but snorkel later this year

Yeah right then winch bumper and winch then roof rack then spotlights then CB then 2.5 lift then big tires...

    Here I go again ...

Yes fundraiser 50 bucks per car barbecue lunch 2 bucks per banger country you will never drive on again 4wd only shiny track and dirty track but from past experience it'll be high in the air views to die for photos a plenty and good fun not a hard track as farmers don't want their properties scarred but a good drive Pm me an email addy and I'll email you the flyer with details

Yeah I think they look alright all done up with ARB gear and decent mud tyres fitted. Different. Bit of a bugger they don't come in a diesel version. Not a fan of big 4wd petrols doing the kms I do (unless it's a stinking big V8)

Possibly, I've always thought they're petrol only in NZ. Could be wrong.

Heaps of them in Canada and the US
