Thread: Knee problem.

I'm sure there're a few experts on here so here goes.

I run every second day usually, 5-10k with a bloody great hill in the middle.

On Thursday night I did a 2.6k run on a treadmill because the weather was shite, I know not far but it was a fast pace and I detest treadmill running, I hadn't run for about 4 days because of a cold. No problems.

Next day I ran to work, just an easy 5k but my shins and calf area felt fatigued and the run felt crap but still <5.00/kms. No injuries felt.

Next day my right knee feels fine but when I sit down and let my lower leg hang and it hurts and when I run it hurts like hell, no pain at all while walking, stair climbing etc. No grinding or clicking, just hurts to run and the odd position makes it hurt.

Never had knee problems before, got a fitness test in 6 weeks so want to get it sorted soon so I don't lose all of my fitness before then. Might jump on the cycle trainer tonight instead of running. Physio tomorrow.
