    Lineside automotive

    Any one dealt with these guys in rangiora? Have been recommended to use them to get a bit of work done on the landcruiser

    I know a lot of guys that deal with them. They are good to deal with.

    Yeah they just rang back with the quote... Ouch hope its going to be worth it. I ingerited the truck so only fair I put a little $ into the old girl

    Most of the time they sell 2nd hand parts for more than brand new genuine are worth. I'd only personally use them as a last resort.

    A better wrecker to get bits from is Country Automotive in Fernside, Rangiora. Gavin is really good and his prices are way better than anyone else around.

    Cheers guys,alresdy got the truck booked I for next week, will be watching them do thework if I can as I got nothing better to do!

    Have quite a bit of work to get done so getting someone else to do it. May try Gavin for anymore bits that needed adding, theres always somethign!

    Gavin is bloody awesome, we have a hilux here that's basically built entirely from bits from him haha

    like cambo ,id go to Gavin everytime.extremely bloody helpful and prompt with parts delivery!Bro in law dealt with lineside -wryly commented on the battering his wallet took!

    just picked up the truck.... work looks good but the wallet did take a beating, $250 to fit a snorkel.... and yet only $550 for the labourto get a new bar and winch put on the front, a ground anchor made up and new shocks and springs al around. cant tell me it takes half the time to fit a snorkel as do all the other work!
