A little bit of Kiwi Crazy !!

2013 Cliffhanger Hill Climb - Jay Lawrence on the Bridgestone ZX10R smashes record - YouTube

Older Vid from March but fast enough I reckon... I love this one ...

Jay Lawrence, Bridgestone tyre specialist, rides the 2013 Cliffhanger hill climb, setting a new record of 2.04.596, with an average speed of 176.25km/h, eclipsing his own past record of 2.09.68.

The Cliffhanger is at Gladstone, near Masterton, New Zealand, and is a 6.1KM closed road hill climb. Jay is riding a Bridgestone slick shod 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R.

Must be reasonably hard riding with nuts that size me thinks .... Hes pretty sharp on it .. 160K + corners red line in top gear !!!
"This is my Flag... Ill only have the one ..

It is an old race car built back in the 50's. Had a huge aircooled aircraft engine powering it.

I work with Jay, he is a mad bugger no doubt about it. If you'd like to see him in action, he'll be racing at Cemetery Circuit (Wanganui) on Boxing day. Not the same bike, but an 81 GSX1100 (#371).
