    Mazda Marvie/Proceed

Has anyone had anything to do with these
    2.6 petrol I believe
Are they an ok 4x4 for a hack, early to mid 90's I'm guessing, pretty low km at 126.

Hi, I had a Mazda extra cab 4x4 Ute with the 2.6 petrol, when I lived in Renwick, good hack, was hungry but when you factor in the reduced purchase price over a diesel vehicle and no RUCs it all works out. I was happy with mine and it had done about 230,000 kms

Heavy drinkers, low and long in the wheelbase so can hang up off road/4wding and have a poor turning circle, front CVs are weak compared to a lot of 4wds of similar age. As a hack probably as good or bad as any other cheap wagon. treat it ok and it should last ya.

I had one for 6 years as a daily driver, as other have said pretty thirsty but reliable. Theres some part of the engine management system thats prone to going and there's not much point in getting a second hand replacement because you'll likely have the same issue in the near future are they are getting pretty old.
They were actually not bad on the road but I'd say a surf would be a far better offroad option especially if you were looking to upgrade its suspension etc because I doubt there's a huge range of aftermarket available.

I had one of these , biggest heap of shit I have ever owned! thirsty , gutless , shit ground clearance and quite long so it was extremely poor off-road.
Keep looking boss.......just not at these haha

Well thanks all, was going to part of an inheritance so thought it might be worth while with the low kms
