    Navara?

    Looking for a new(ish) 4x4 ute.
90% of its life on road commuting. 10% towing 5.5m tinny and off-road.
    Do about 120km a day.

Looking at low km Utes and the navaras seem cheap.
Anyone in the know have an opinion on the 2.5d ?

Looking at about 30k, ideally after a ute with under 50,000km on it.

I'm in the 3.0 camp Rather than the 2.5... I've known three that have blown their asses.
I've had three 3.0T. All reliable Utes.

Had one. 2010 STX. Didn't like it much. Poorly finished and turbo laaaaaaaag pissed me off.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

The 2.5 destroys its dual mass flywheel at times as well, crasborns in hastings have replaced both of their navara utes flywheels twice in 160, 000km

This seems like the never ending advice. 2011 Hilux might be a better option.....

I've only had Hilux utes in the past, but this time was hoping for a cheaper option to run up the k's on. Thanks for the feedback

Hilux will cost you less in the long term.
I've heard the newer ones are not as good as the old ones, but then they cost less (relatively) new.
