    New ute wanted

So as the title says, I'm wanting a ute again.
I'm not overly keen on any of the new Ute's out there unless it's a new holden maloo But that would just be silly, not completely of the list thou.
Would love a big wankey American tank but have been down that track before... they are just to big.
So I've decided they haven't made my perfect Ute yet. Time I built one to suit.
They do a 200 series landcruiser in aus with an extended chassie but still double cab. I really want a extra cab.
So my question is, dose anyone know who would be capable of doing a built like this in NZ?

Seen a couple of older landcruiser with a tandem rear axle on them round Canterbury. Not quite what you were asking but serious alterations are possible

There was a guy in chch doing conversions from 80 series I think. And putting a deck on.
I hear that Toyota aren't selling the double cab Landcruiser here anymore after them failing in crashes

Thats the biggy especially with new vehicles, regs on mods are tight and IME certifiers dont like to put there name to any untested design, rather reading from a folder of bullshit.

What you need is someone who is capable of doing the work(shouldnt be to hard) and in a region where cert is common sense(quite a bit harder)

Hmm a world where common sense thrived.

Unfortunately I think we have seen that time and it was early 90s

Love the 70 series but not until they improve their steering lock.

Yea I think it would be easy to sort the cut and chop but what I really want is the good body work. Basically I want a tundra extra cab in a 200 series form.

Probably cheaper to buy a tundra, they are not too big

A: They look like the ugliest thing I have ever seen with the tray mounted behind the back axle

B: I bet they are terrible to drive with any kind of half decent load on the tray also

    C:whats the point?

Funny as a pool full of female jelly wrestlers. Ugly as all sin.
