It's doing about 18L per 100km at the moment.......I think the tires might be more of the issue

But what about when you stop putting it around?

A mate has a succession of Hummers and he reckoned the H2s were ridiculously thirsty, you could basically watch the needle go down.

This is a diesel, apparently when it's wound up to 700hp it just blows black smoke out the arse..........I think they call it 'rolling coal', have a look on youtube.

The levels of pollution and some of those drivers attitudes are just obnoxious. If I had someone behaving like that they would be going through a lot of tyres... Cos there would be z nails on their drive every morning

The Audi R10 TDI which has cleaned up at all the recent Le Mons 24hrs races doesn't spew out clouds of smoke, just a haze as it leaves its competition in its wake. At 650hp not quite the 700hp but then again how healthy are Yankee horses so comparisons may not be valid.

Has test drive of the new hot SQ7 Audi recently. It hurls over 2.5 tons round like it's a tonne lighter. Serious wind-up and handling. 900 torques and under 5 secs to 100.
    Mind you, it ain't cheap..
