Thread: NZ 4wd Rentals - any reviews?

Bro and sis are bringing families over for a visit later this year and looking at 4wd rental options. Anyone ever rented off this crowd https://www.newzealand4wdhire.co.nz/ - prices seem surprisingly reasonable (almost too good) but no reviews on the web. Might have to go visit their local depot out at the airport to suss it out but figured I’d check here as well.

Check out where you are and aren't allowed to drive, or lack of cover if you go offroad etc.

Had a farming couple from England stay at my bnb a couple of weeks ago.They rented a Ford Ranger,when they picked it up,the ute only done about 20 kilometers(new).He had visited a few farms in the north island.He thort the ute was great.I did sit in the drivers set,very nice,sorry patrol.Good cruiser on the highway.Cheap enough to rent as well.
