    Standard 30hp engine
    Standard hull
    Cheating is encouraged

Several forum members have recently made it clear they can fold aluminium and weld. One of them will supply consistent hulls. If they can't be built for bugger all, try something else. Like imported Chinese inflatables (deflatables).

I have been running motorsport events (paddock racing) most of my life with the simple rules: Be fastest round the markers. Don't die (optional).

It may not of been ideal, but it was always fun.

Bikes were similar. Kicking someone off theirs instead of passing them seemed like sound tactics.
30hp instead of 15hp may make things expensive enough that you'll only halve the field, which halves the fun

My old boss and his mates used to do dusk/night slalom courses in the tidal bit behind the NW motorway on jetskis. Glowsticks for on the edge of the apexes of the little islands etc. Apparently there were more than a few cracked hulls before they found something else to entertain themselves

I like the idea of allowing engine modification ie porting etc but must run original carbs etc no bolt on mods so you can improve it with your skills not your wallet.

Probably want to be able to change props.
